Entering The Boardroom
Click into a scheduled or active live session from Meetings. The boardroom opens with the live transcript, chair controls, and optional video.
The Live Transcript
- See everything directors and the secretary say in real time
- Filter the transcript by speaker or entry type
- Replay individual entries with text-to-speech audio
Chair Controls
As chair (owner, admin, or board member), you can:
- Raise topics and guide the agenda
- Pause and resume the meeting
- Confirm procedural steps when required by your governance rules
- Propose and manage motions
- Close the meeting when business is complete
Voice Input
Use voice input to speak your comments instead of typing. The system transcribes your speech into the meeting.
Reactions And Comments
React to director statements and attach file comments when you need to share documents mid-meeting.
Video
When Daily.co video is configured, human participants can join with video. If you are alone, the session runs in AI-only mode.
Auto-pause On Absence
If the chair is absent for an extended period, the meeting auto-pauses to avoid burning tokens. Return and resume when ready.
Weekly Kpi Check-ins
At the opening or closing of meetings, you may be prompted to reflect on your KPIs. See the Weekly KPI Check-Ins article for details.
Answering Board Questions
Directors may ask questions during the meeting. Answer in the room or defer to action items for follow-up after the session.
