Available Modes
Consensus
- Directors seek agreement through discussion
- Best for nonprofits and collaborative cultures
- Default for nonprofit organizations
Advisory
- Recommendations are guidance, not binding decisions
- Lighter procedural structure
- Default for small businesses (SMBs)
Strict Ronr
- Follows Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised
- Formal motions, seconds, debate, and recorded votes
- Best for associations and governance-heavy organizations
Custom
- Combine elements from other modes with your own governance rules
- Configure details in Account → Governance
Changing Your Mode
Go to Account → Governance and select a new parliamentary mode. Changes apply to future meetings.
