Governance settings control the procedural rules your AI board follows during meetings. Access them at Account → Governance.
Parliamentary Mode
Choose consensus, advisory, strict RONR, or custom. See Parliamentary Modes Explained for details.
Jurisdiction State
Two-letter state code (e.g. CA, NY) for jurisdiction-aware governance guidance.
Adherence Level
- Strict — full procedural compliance
- Standard — balanced procedure and efficiency
- Facilitated — secretary guides but allows flexibility
- Light — minimal procedure, maximum discussion
Motion Rules
- Require second for motions — a seconding motion is needed before debate
- Chair votes on motions — the chair participates in votes (normally chairs abstain)
- Allow consent agenda — routine items can be approved as a group without individual debate
Vote Threshold
- Simple majority
- Supermajority
- Consensus (unanimous)
- Advisory (non-binding)
Debate Limit
Optional time cap on debate per motion (in minutes). Leave blank for no limit.
Who Can Edit
Owners and administrators can change governance settings. Changes apply to future meetings only.
