When To Use It
- You need deep expertise from one discipline (finance, governance, programs, etc.)
- A topic does not require full board deliberation
- You want a quick consult before bringing something to the full board
How To Start
- Go to Meetings → 1:1 Director Session
- Select the director whose expertise matches your topic
- Enter your topic or question
- Add optional context and supporting files
- Start the session
What Happens
You have a direct conversation with the chosen director. The secretary takes notes and prepares a session summary when you close the meeting.
Deliverable
A session summary document you can review, export as PDF, and reference later. Find it on the meeting detail page.
Usage
Each director session uses one of your plan's director session credits.
Tips
- Pick the director whose discipline best matches your question
- Be specific — "Should I hire another estimator?" works better than "Help with hiring"
- Attach relevant files so the director has full context
